John Hill succinctly expresses the restaurant’s ethos with his review: "Outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine." This sentiment resonates through the menu, which, while offering a variety of pizzas, stays true to Italian traditions without overwhelming options—just pure, quality pie. You won’t find pizzas piled high with toppings here; instead, simplicity and flavor reign supreme.
For those looking for something unique, try the remarkable combination of Gorgonzola cheese with apple and balsamic vinegar, as one enthusiastic diner, Tony W, vividly describes. The creativity doesn’t stop there, with arugula topping options that add a fresh twist to your pizza experience, a favorite of many returning customers, like Alex Reyna.
Brenda Eley also emphasizes a critical aspect of this eatery: friendly service. It's the kind of place where staff greet you with a smile, though like any neighborhood spot, there can be a few bumps in the service experience as noted by Tiffany Harris. Nevertheless, the overall delight of the food overshadows fleeting service hiccups. The restaurant balances this with a laid-back atmosphere, making it ideal for a casual dinner or a lively gathering.
And let’s not overlook the appetizers! The olive tapenade served with puffy bread has garnered countless praises for its tantalizing taste. It’s a must-try, and you might even find yourself craving more. Ryan Ebert expressed his love for each ingredient, emphasizing the authentic crushed tomatoes and real mozzarella. It’s clear: each pizza is crafted with love and attention.

Outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine. Best true Italian style pizza that I have found in Eugene. Sadie isn’t too heavy. They don’t have pizzas with 10 different toppings. Thin-crust cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices.

I had the opportunity to try Hey Niebor pizza today, and boy eas I impressed. Absolutely delicious wood fired neopolitan pizza. I went out on a limb and tried one I wouldn't normally go with, and boy, was I happy. It was so delicious. Gorgonzola cheese with apple and balsamic vinegar.

Fresh tasting pizza, many more on the menu I want to try. Highly recommend! Friendly service.

Great pizza. Obsessed with the olive tapenade and puffy bread. Service could be better. Not much is done for prebussing app plates- even when the plates are stacked. Drink refills are non-existent. Had to go to the bar for a water pitcher to be refilled, despite the staff walking by our table multiple times. The restaurant was nearly at half capacity during visit. Server seemed inconvenienced by the ask to refill water. All-in-all, typical Eugene-server-experience: bare-minimum effort with an expectation of a tip 20% or higher. Food is awesome!

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Eugene. Every component of the food tastes great from the crushed tomatoes, real mozzarella, and the meats. I loved every bite and can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend the Bombo pizza it’s a perfect blend of flavors. There is a lot of parking available and the inside is very relaxed.

We found this gem a few months ago. We have tried various pizzas and they are all very delicious. Especially the one with arugula. Their Caesar salad is out of this world. If I'm driving several hours to go to Eugene, I am definitely going for some pizza and salad here.

Flavorful, chewy crust! Unique pizza and toppings. So delicious! I was traveling through ORegon and decided to look up Eugene's top rated pizza place and decided on this wonderful establishment hidden in an urban neighborhood. It was worth the detour. I ordered ahead and it was ready for me. I enjoyed the artful bathroom, too! I ordered a custom pizza and would have wanted 2 more toppings but it only allowed 5 and cheese options counted as 1. I enjoyed the home-made meatballs althought they were not applied generosity and left me craving about 20% more. Same with the sauce. What was there was delicious, but I would have appreciated a more heavy application of toppings, personally. Wonderful flavors! I also ordered the puff bread and olive tapenade. Yum!! That portion was perfect. The bread is probably pizza dough which is a bit like an extra chewy na'an in texture but saltier in flavor.

Food was amazing, people were friendly, and I loved the casual atmosphere. It was a beautiful spring day when we visited, and loved that outdoor seating was available. Their pizzas are perfect to split with a partner. Next time, I'm going to try a salad because they looked fresh and amazing. Got the Il Tuffo, and it was so good!
